There have been moments in my life that make me smile, of course that make me cry, semi-memorable moments, and moments that will most likely be forgotten. There are rare moments though, out of the blue, that practically bring me to my knees. Moments that I could curl up and live in forever…moments that make me break down at the thought of forgetting. That is what I’m obsessed with capturing. I don’t want to take a picture of you sitting on a bench smiling into my lens. I want to suspend you in moments that define your life as revisiting those moments is what fuels us.
Meeting my husband brought so much happiness and expanded my view on relationships, trust, and understanding. Becoming a mother though, turned me inside out & upside down. My heart bleeds love and joy with every waking moment. It pours into my work and defines my style. As for me outside of photography, I enjoy experiences over “things”. I intentionally enjoy my days and dismiss things that are out of my control. I love watching Chargers football with my mom, movies with my man, and having little conversations with my children. Music helps me be productive but the channel is always changing.
I am passionate about living the best, most peaceful life I can. Socially, I am passionate about equal rights, bettering the US obstetric care system, and gentle parenting. I couldn’t be more thankful that photography found me and that fate lent the chance to pursue it professionally. The pieces fit and I am happy.
